Data Collection

This extension ("LabX Price Comparison Assistant") only sends your search keywords to selected industrial supply platforms (e.g., Tansoole, Aladdin, Macklin) when you actively initiate a search. All search results are displayed in the browser sidebar.

Data Storage

Search history and results are stored locally in your browser (chrome.storage.local) and are never uploaded to any remote server.

Information NOT Collected

• No personally identifiable information (name, email, phone, etc.)
• No browsing history
• No website login cookies (read or transmitted)
• No cross-site tracking

Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, share, or transfer any data to third parties.

Permissions

All requested permissions are used solely for the price comparison feature: storage (local cache), sidePanel (display results), activeTab (detect current platform), scripting (inject parse scripts), alarms (keep service worker alive).
